Dear Owners:
After many months/years, the Association’s Board of Directors have updated and revised the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) governing our Subdivisions. A significant number of changes in both state and federal law, as well as general administration of homeowners’ associations, have occurred since this document was drafted by the Developer in 1978. The Board believes these changes will enhance the Whispering Meadows Subdivisions and reinforce our subdivision as a premier Novi community.
For your review and comments, we are providing the following documents:
- 2023 History of WMHA Amended and Restated CC&Rs:
This document is intended to summarize and document the process the Board has taken to update the CC&Rs.
- Reconciliation of Owners Comments Regarding Attorney’s version of the CC&Rs – Updated by Board/Committee:
This document is intended to address the comments/questions the Owners provided to the Board after the Zoom meeting. Please note the Board and CC&R’s Committee members have spent a significant amount of time considering and incorporating all individual comments received by the Board into these documents.
- 2023 Amended and Restated Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Whispering Meadows Subdivision No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4.

All responses need to be submitted by October 31, 2023. Barring major changes, we will begin collecting consent signatures in November.
